CBR storyWalt gives an interview that is a retrospective of his career. Lots of interesting thigs throughout, on how he got the Manhunter gig, his break into comics, anecdotes about breaking into comics with DC and his first meeting with Carmine Infantino, the origins of the Ragnarok project, etc. plus a lot of talk about the craft of making comics. He also has an interesting take on the debate about recoloring old comics in the new collected editions. Well worth the read. -M Edit to add: Oh and the one modern comic Walt still follows...Stan Sakai's Usagi Yojimbo! -M

Walt's interviews are the best. He's so forthcoming about his career, and he has a great sense of humor. I almost get sad when his interviews are over because they are so entertaining and informative.

One thing about Walt that I really like about him is his ability to speak clearly and understandbly and he's crystal clear on the subject that he speaks about. He is straight-forward, honest, and downright human. I just find him with a warm heart and a wonderful sense of humor that's delightful to his audiences.
He is a class by himself.
