I'm as into super hero movies as much as any one you're likely to meet, but does any one really want to watch celebrities walking into a movie theater for an hour and a half? Are they hoping for a wardrobe malfunction, like racing fans secretly hoping for a crash?

You'd be surprised, the Red Carpet shows to many of these awards shows get batter ratings than the awards shows themselves sometimes, enough so that many networks air them.
