comics bought in May 1996Girl Crazy #1 - I still have fond memories of this short miniseries, one of Gilbert Hernandez's lighter pieces. Always hoped he might do a sequel. I have read the Invisibles revolution trade but not until years later. I've never read the New Gods or Mister Miracle series from the 90s. the artwork on the cover of MM looks like the kind of 90s superhero style I dislike, but I see Keith Giffen was the artist on New Gods this month - might have to check it out just for that. |
