In theaters: Napoleon Dynamite, Garfield: The Movie, Dodgeball, Fahrenheit 9/11, White Chicks, Spider-Man 2, The Notebook (blech...)
Not on the charts but the only music I bought: Concrete Blonde-Mojave, their final album. End of an era, ignored by the mainstream.
Comics:
Nada, zip, zilch.....
Had my 20th High School Reunion. Saw my classmates with teenaged children and felt really old. It's time for our 40th. I don't think I could survive seeing us all as grandparents.

Seeing the cover of The Escapist reminds me that The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay was a pretty good book. Michael Chabon really managed to covey the sense of naive wonder I often encounter in Golden Age comics (especially with his Luna Moth character).

Getting to the end of floppies, for me. I was buying more trades, at B&N, with a 30% employee discount. We got the humanoids books and I bought the Freddy Lombard volume (loved the stories) and The White Lama, which I originally saw excerpts of, in the documentary series Comics, The 9th Art, in their 10 to watch segment, at the very end, featuring the art of Georges Bess. Loved th visuals, not as wild about Jodorowsky's story. He's a little out there, for my tastes, despite The Incal.
