From SDCC 2015: JAY GARRICK Confirmed For FLASH TV & More In DC's 'From Page to Screen' Panel by George Marston, Newsarama ContributorDate: 10 July 2015 Time: 07:10 PM ET 0 19Reddit3Submit0 In a preview of sorts for Saturday's television and film panels from DC, the next panel is DC Entertainment: From Page to Screen at Comic-Con International: San Diego. Set to begin at 4:15 p.m. PST in Room 6DE, the panel promises to delve into the transition and adaptation of DC's various comic book characters into film, television, video games and animation. One of the big announcements so far in the panel is that the the original Flash from comic books, Jay Garrick, would indeed show up in the new season of The Flash. There had been several easter eggs alluding to Garrick, and in this panel DC Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns confirmed the debut.

I'm beyond thrilled about this. I hope Jay will be based on Earth 2 leading up to a full Justice Society introduction.

I'm very much interested to see what they do with him; and I hope that his appearances (in TV and in Comic Books) would inspire DC Comics to launch a Justice Society of America book with hints of Golden Age Heroes. I would love to see him back in action.
