My preorder of Usagi Yojimbo Saga vol. 5 HC is on the way, and thanks to Black Friday I just put in an order for 7 more trades/HC's. I had many more selected, but then decided to remove many from my cart. I ran with Archie Archives HC vol. 1 Blackjacked and Pistol Whipped, a Crime Does Not Pay Primer Cochlea & Eustachia Edgar Allan Poe's Spirits of the Dead HC Inner City Romance Lonesome Go Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Original Motion Picture Sp Ed HC
So that plus all the Archie digests I bought recently I'm pretty stocked up. Plenty of new stuff and a handful of things I've been really wanting to check out.

I need to sit down and figure out which of the 37 different version of TMNT collections there are I want. None are perfect but the Ultimate Collection is the best option so far. Probably the color version since volume 4 of the black and white version is missing the greytones.

Ordered it a few days ago, but this showed up in the mail today.... -M That's the series produced in France, isn't it? Moorcock always had a special relation with that country. There's even an "official" Elric novel that was published in French but not in English (as far as I know): Les buveurs d'âmes, by Moorcock and Francis Colin. It looks pretty good, mrp. How is it?

Read Invisible Republic.. nice art.. not a bad story, but not a particularly good one... like they're trying to say something, but taking too long to get there.

I picked up volumes 7-9 of Walking Dead at my shop's Black Friday sale last week. Without having ever read it in singles, I'm guessing it reads a lot better in trade.

AMelia Cole and the Hidden War (vol. 2 of the series) came in today... read it on the ride home... not quite as good as the 1st volume.. the art seemed rushed and was a bit inconsistent, but the plot continues to expand and be really interesting. Also one of the more creative Easter Eggs I can recall.. a book in a library scene was labeled 'The Dinklage of Peters' by George R. R. Ringo. Two birds, one stone .

Completely forgot I bought The Complete Eightball until it showed up today. One of three big slip cases from Fantagraphics I had my eye on. I'll probably never get Zap, too expensive for me. But next Black Friday I'll probably get Witzend

I always meant to start Finder, even bought the first TPB, but the art always put me off so far. Yet I'm enjoying No Mercy very much...

See I like McNeil's art. In Finder. In the Queen & Country arc she did, and in other things as well.
