Just wanted to draw everyone's attention to this since some of your bookmarks go right to the main forum and bypass the homepage.
Many suggestions have been made in the last two months about what additional forum categories should be added to the site. Generally though, it seems that having one place to discuss everything has made sense thus far.
However, I decided to try creating a separate section for discussing conventions, and the reason for this exception is that our interest in various conventions being discussed depends entirely upon their proximity to us. A general convention discussion forum is impractical because some of us could never hope to make it to Emerald City or San Diego, so I thought having a whole section where we can start threads about individual conventions would make this more practical -- it's easier to see who is attending a convention near you.
I'll give this a few weeks to see if it takes off. If there doesn't seem to be much interest, I'll delete it.
