I was reading Aquaman #41 the other day, Dr. Poison and I was thinking of the same thing myself - I just can't stand his costume change - it's somewhat hideous to me.

I am still undecided on this new direction for Aquaman. I am giving it a chance for now. Hopefully, it will turn out to be really great.
So, what is everyone's take on Aquaman's shirt? Is it just a grey shirt? or is it made of metal? I wonder why this color and style were chosen?

So, what is everyone's take on Aquaman's shirt? Is it just a grey shirt? or is it made of metal? I wonder why this color and style were chosen? Appeared to be some form of breastplate similar to the Roman Soldier wore in their heydays and having read #41 two days ago - I just don't care for the grey shirt and it's hideous color that made Aquaman more and more less aquatic and more warrior-like of which I also find the gloves too much for me. Being old-schooled and all - I find this design in poor taste and I just talked to my dear friend and he said he doesn't care for it at all. I just can't stand it and now --- I'm dropping it out of my reading list. It's too bizarre for me to look at.

Do not like the art! It's too muddy and dark looking.
I'm going to give this issue a go, but it looks like the only DC book I've ever had on my pull list is perilously close to being dropped.
