All that and a whatever happens to bonus story! I loved this issue when it was released, it started a several year Teen Titans addiction, but I doubt I've reread it since release. I really need to change that!

Looking through the notes I took when preparing my Flash/Green Lantern/Hawkman article for Alter Ego, in which I tracked every new use of his power ring between Showcase #22 in 1959 and Green Lantern #75 in 1971 (including all JLA stories and guest appearances), I find no mention of GL using his power to either project or create kryptonite. That doesn't mean I couldn't have overlooked a mention but I'm reasonably confident. I'd have recorded it if it was there.
