Im not super knowledgeable about stuff like some people on here but have been reading comics for probably 10 years or more. I was into them sporadically as a kid but they were kind of hard to get here in UK. Being knowledgeable is never a prerequisite for participating here. Most of what I know about comics I learned from this place  Anyway, very glad to have you here. Welcome! |

Hi all, have been lurking for a while and decided I wanted to post an entry in the Cover Contest, so here I am.  I posted many years ago at the CBR forums but encountered a couple of snotty responses from self-proclaimed know-it-alls that really soured me on posting, so I stopped. Anyway, I've lurked on several boards but I am super-impressed by this board's knowledge and camaraderie, so this looks like good re-entry port for me. And as mentioned I want to post in the Cover Contest! My CV: I am a Marvel and DC fan from the good old days of the Silver Age. Glad to be here, and I look forward to interacting with y'all. |

Everybody is so nice and polite, I don't think I have ever read a snotty comment here. You can trade comics and trust the people (Hey MRP! Will look for SSoC soon!), you can ask about Archie comics in private messages to an expert and get a detailed answer (Thanks again Scott Harris!), you can even have so-so english and nobody will ever tell you (Thanks everybody!)! I unfortunately don't have as much free time as I'd like to read every thread, but when I do I always learn something new about Classic Comics. Long story short, great forum! |

This is the only place I post on the Internet (although I don't post a lot) and one of the only forum I read. Everybody is so nice and polite, I don't think I have ever read a snotty comment here. This is the only forum I really enjoy posting on any more. |

Hi everyone ,I'm Asude from Turkey I'm 22 and I've newly started to reading comics for few months.I always want to start but in my country it's hard to reach them and costs are very high ,so I decided to download them on net.I'm very excited that I will learn many many things from you and have nice friends I chose newly coming comics like ms.marvel , nailbiter , saga , lumberjanes ,rat queens and chew ;and I love them |
