I like most all comics but mainly read dc green arrow, flash, Justice league , green lantern etc Great, we welcome your input. And who knows? You may even pick up a new favorite or two from the recommendations here. I know a lot of us have. Welcome! Ty glad to be here nice to meet you |

And here are the ones I made for my daughter - the Black Orchids were the next ones I did (for me) and include a crossover copy of Swamp Thing. I had a whole load of fun doing the cover art.  comics1 by the_junk_monkey, on Flickr Confessor, I'd value your input. Still working on a walkthrough. This is very cool looking, I'm mighty tempted, have bookmarked your thread. very well done |

Just a courtesy thought id better provide some details about me. Im Bill (37 years old) and im from the UK. Just happened across this forum and thought id join. My tastes vary a lot, I tend to be more of a Marvel guy than DC. recently I have been reading classic Conan and Spider man. Favorite Marvel artist is probably John Buscema. I also like older stuff like EC and pre code horror comics.
Im not super knowledgeable about stuff like some people on here but have been reading comics for probably 10 years or more. I was into them sporadically as a kid but they were kind of hard to get here in UK.
I do remember some of the members from the comicbookresources.com classic comics forum. not sure how this offshoot forum came about im intrigued anyone inclined to explain?

When CBR rebooted last April/May, they initially did not include a forum for classic comics, so Shaxper took the initiative to start this place as our new home and most of the community migrated over here. Later CBR offered a combined classics/collected forum, but the cow was already out of the barn at that point. Some here still participate over there, some are disgruntled with the way things went after the reboot and do not frequent those boards any more. It doesn't matter here if you go there or not, we are our own thing now, and imo better off for it. -M |

ah, thanks for that mrp. It does feel better here now doesn't it? 
tbh I havnt been frequenting any of the boards for the past couple of years, as my interest waned for a little while back there think I got burned out but now I am back reading again. |

Welcome cromagnonman, always great to have a fresh face and new input. All are welcome here. As mrp said, we've been pretty much doing our own thing here since the shake up at CBR and as a community we wish them well. Hope you enjoy the forum and feel free to make yourself at home.
