Hi. I'm a Brit whose fascination with super-hero comics started at the tender age of 8, some 52 years ago. I have only recently started to purchase some of my favourite Marvel comics, for the umpteenth time. (I've assembled and discarded collections of varying sizes several times over the years, for very tedious reasons. This time, I'm not trying to build complete runs of anything, just acquiring comics that are special to me for one reason or another. I look forward to sharing thoughts and opinions with you all.

Hi, new member here. My name is Michael. I have been collecting off & on for almost 30 years. I recently started collecting again after a lull of about 9 years, from the time my daughter was born until she started showing interest in comic books herself. My collection contains primarily Hulk titles and guest spots, and Star Wars. Overall I prefer Marvel to DC for my superhero fix, but I did read a few Batman stories in the late 80s-early 90s. I look forward to participating in the forums! |

I'm still waiting for my oldest daughter to reach that point. She's seven and has a collection of her own, but she rarely has the patience to read any with me yet.
