Hi I started posting online sometime in 2000 on the old DC boards, have moved around a bit but never found anything again like the sense of community there. My online posting dwindled as did my interest in new comics for the most part - I have a particular interest in Bronze Age Marvel (so much so I set up a blog mightyworldofbronzeagemarvel.blogspot.co.uk/) but haven't updated in awhile and discovered this site while looking for somewhere to discuss, erm, classic comics. That's me in a nutshell. Looking forward to discussing them with you!

Thank you Icctrombone, shaxper and Richard. So what's a good thread for Marvel Bronze Age? There isn't really one singular place to discuss Marvel Bronze Age. Depending on what is being read, there is discussion in the "What classic comics have you read lately" or the "Classic Comics Reading Club 2015" threads, and there are some review threads that cover this era, such as the Micronauts' review thread. However, there is nothing devoted solely to the books of that era.

Meanwhile, I discovered the Legion 5YL thread (that's another sweet spot for me) so all is good.

Welcome, and thanks for seeking us out.

Hmmmm....I just may do that. After I start a thread devoted to Reading Alan Brennert (it'll be short, but very sweet).

Hi, folks. I'm Gene, formerly Gene Marsh and Gene M. of the CBR forums. I'm an artist, a teacher, and a labor organizer. I'm also a back issue bargain hunter, collecting Silver Age Charlton (especially books by Ditko) and anything Daredevil I can get my hands on.

Welcome aboard Gene! I'm a big Daredevil fan myself, even own issue #1. It's coverless, but I prefer that over mint any day.
