Welcome, L! What seems to be the problem with the avatar? Is it perhaps too large a file? We are allowed 1 Mb max, 150 x 150 px.

This is a reintroduction. I was an original CCF member back when it formed after the mass exodus of CBR. Not to go into too much detail, but personal issues lead to the deleting, not just my membership to this board, but a few others, as I'd reached a point where I wasn't enjoying talking about comics as much as I used to and was using it as an excuse to escape my problems without dealing with them. Fast forward a few months and my life has changed; I've meet a great woman, we've moved in together and I'm happy for the first time in a very long time. Suffice to say, I wanted to come back and ease my way back into the community. I actually want to be a part of it this time after learning some hard lessons. Mainly, never start a review thread with a scope beyond your ability to commit to.

My name is Luis, I'm a 49 year old film scripwriter and director from Colombia. Now days one of my stories is being turned into a comic book series. My love for comics goes way back to my very early childhood. I enjoy a good superheroe story but prefer othes types of comics. Some of my favorite series are: Transmetropolitan, Sandman, The Invisibles, V for Vendetta. Of current series I specially enjoy: Monstress, Lazarus, East of West, Wynonna Earp and Lucifer.
I enjoy cooking, reading (lots of SciFi) and skydiving. I'm also a Formula 1 fan.
My regards to all forum members.

Thanks Confessor, I will certainly check your reviews. I'm a big fan of Tintin, I had read all his books before I was 10 years old and unconsciously he became an important role model, something of which I became aware later in life.

Hello Luis!
Did you recently ask a question about a 1970s Colombian comic book on another site?
