So I guess I am saying that my love for comics has always been a bit different than the comics that the majority of my friends bought in the 80s and 90s. Oh, you are going to fit in quite well around here, my friend, Looking forward to all of this, especially the EC appreciation thread!

Hi, It's Nikos Nikolaidis from Athens, Greece. Happy to be with you, all the best I am trying to find two war stories (can't remember titles) as below: 1) Three American friends go to the WW I but -as one of them is a coward- the others help him to survive, killing a German soldier. Realizing that he enjoyed killing, after the war he has become a criminal gangster! Now the other two friends are thinking that they "helped a monster to be created" (phrase of the comic) and finally, the one (who now is a police officer) has to kill him, during a fight. 2) Some nazzi officers having escaped from Germany in 1945, arrive in South America to set-up their military squad when a blond-haired American veteran soldier finds them. I can remember two names Richdlliger (German officer) and Rodriguez (South American citizen). Thus I recall that there was a swastika (nazi symbol) stamped on American veteran's chest (by Germans using a bayonet !!!) and a huge skate fish !!! Can anybody help, please Thanks for your time,

Hi everyone,
I found this place through the Annotated Savage Sword of Conan thread and have been loving the discussion that goes on here. I'm originally from New Zealand, but I've been living in Japan for 14 years. I was a huge comics fan as a kid but stopped reading them in my early 20s. A few years ago, I went on a nostalgia kick that hasn't stopped. Hopefully, I can add something to the discussions around here. Thanks!

Hi, am Sean Holmes! I am new to this forum, but I joined because of my love for comics and movies. Has anyone here heard about the Bat-Woman Beyond Michael Keaton rumors?

Welcome, seanholmes2 ! I don't know about Batwoman and Michael Keaton, but we have an entire subsection devoted to comics-related movies! I'm sure someone there can provide some info.

Hello all! Just joined as I'm searching out some ideas, historical research. I found some slides that were once used in a stage show, and I'm putting together a book on that subject. Will post and see if anyone recognizes the style or artist associated with the images... thanks, I'm sure this will be a great community of knowledgeable people.

Greetings! My name's Brian, I've been on and off the site at various times, but this screen name, reflecting comics and 'Doctor Who' as two of my interests, is a 'regeneration' I plan on keeping! My main era of interest in comics is mainly Bronze Age, running a few years into 'post-Crisis DC', 'post-Shooter Marvel', and even 'post-Jellybean Jughead!' I piled up quite a few titles from 1978-93, starting roughly around 'Superman vs. Muhammad Ali' at age 4, and deciding to stop when Harry Osborn died. Lots of 'spinner rack memories' along the way!

My name is sparrow421, and I'm new here. This is the first time I join a forum . I am a fan of comics and comic art in general. Everything that is a comic colorful drawing I STOP to look! Because of that I like to draw comic style portraits and caricatures. I joined the forum to learn more about comics in general because they are the reason I draw in this style now and I used to read Donald duck comics from Disney as kid that are classics and they are super cool!! Now I've been reading more books like Stephen King lately, anyway I like to read books in general and I'm looking to start with comics again! And looking to learn about the subject more with people that might have something to say that I can learn from.
