What are your thoughts on the current state of Wonder Woman?
I still love the character, don't get me wrong but I don't care for this darker, more war-like version DC has been publishing since the dawn of the New 52. The first few years of the New 52 were the worst with Diana sexually assaulting Orion, killing Ares, and slicing open Hal Jordan. We also saw her supporting cast darkened up with revelations of some of the Amazons being sex-pirates and murderers, Hippolyta being a liar and party to an adulterous affair, the Olympians being mostly selfish and manipulative, and Donna Troy being created as sort of a Frankenstein monster with a hatred for men.
Not everything has been bad though. Steve Trevor has been given a new lease on life thanks to his appearances in Justice League and being a top ranking official in A.R.G.U.S. Wonder Woman's new romance with Superman has drawn a lot of attention. DC is now publishing more Wonder Woman books than ever with Wonder Woman, Superman/Wonder Woman, Sensation Comics, and Wonder Woman '77. Some writers have also made small attempts to brighten up the darkness that the New 52 Wonder Woman started with. Charles Soule had Diana change from the God of War to the God of Peace in his Future's End story. Meredith Finch revealed that not all of the Amazons were part of the murderous sex-raids but rather just a group of extremists. Geoff Johns has done a complete 180 with his portrayal of Diana in Justice League over the last 18 months, showcasing a more peace-focused character who is also an effective leader and strategist.
What are your thoughts on the recent state of the Amazing Amazon and her world?

I've mixed feelings about her and current state of affairs in DC Comics. I liked DC Comics handling of her in Sensation Comics and Wonder Woman 77 and beginning to have doubts of Superman Wonder Woman book of which they did a complete 180 in their costumes and I just having a hard time accepting it. I'm considering dropping the book real soon. Like you said earlier - I've hated Brian Azzarello's interpertation of Wonder Woman so much it's hurts my love of this iconic DC Character. I'm also sad that this character isn't getting any love for TV and Movies and only one actress Lynda Carter made it special. I just find Cathy Lee Crosby's version a joke and Gal Gadot to me is a poor choice for Wonder Woman in the upcoming Batman Superman movie that's coming up in 2016. I just find Donna Troy in Comics today a travesty and I'm having a hard time dealing with it. The current Wonder Woman Comic Book is getting a little off the wall here and everytime Meredith Finch writes - she makes me a little madder because she making her more an agressive female rather a superhero battling the Cheetah, Giganta, Circe, Angle Man, Doctors Cyber and even Doctor Poison to make her go back to her roots to re-establish her earlier identity as a formost DC Comics Superheroine. I'm considering dropping that title too. I'm so sad about doing that too. I've missed this version so much - and that's why I like Sensation Comics and Wonder Woman 77 more than Superman Wonder Woman and Wonder Woman.

In regards to Meredith Finch, I think she is trying to clean up some plotlines that Azz left behind. That's why we got the resolution to the Amazon sex-raids in which we found out that only some of the Amazons participated in them, not all. I also think that the current story is going to resolve the issue with Diana's pointless and oxy-moron status as the God of War. As far as the Wonder-rogues go, Meredith has already brought back Aegeus and she(and/or David Finch) have expressed interest in using the Angle Man and the Cheetah within their run. The Finchs also wanted to use Circe in the Donna Troy storyline but those plans were nixed by editorial being that Circe was recently featured in Superman/Wonder Woman. I don't understand this as the Joker and Luthor can appear in multiple titles at the same time but not Circe.

I don't care for Aegeus because I think this character does not relate to me at all; to me this character is a joke to me and I've no interest in this hardly used character. To me, what you've said I don't understand this as the Joker and Luthor can appear in multiple titles at the same time but not Circe. I've noticed that too; and having said that I'm appalled by DC Comics Editorial Board to not use her more than one title. It's a joke to me and even madder that they don't make her more mainstream - I like Circe as a character and at one time in the past she was prominently used in earlier versions of Justice Society of America and earlier books of Wonder Woman as well as other titles too. I think the Finches using Circe in the Donna Troy story-line is not a good idea to being with. There's my 2 cents worth!
