Walking into spider webs, but strangely enough not the spiders themselves if I can see them I have no fear at all, I actually find them beautiful. But if I walk through a web, especially if it hits my face, I start to freak.

Don't know if I have any genuine phobias... but I'm not a fan of spiders, snakes or heights.

It wasn't until I was in my mid 20's that I realized I have probably an unusually high number of phobias.
All reptiles. Bad. I can't go fishing because I can't dehook a fish. I can't touch a fish if it's still alive and flopping. I don't like getting in water that fish or frogs or anything might be in. If a snake ever found it's way on my property I think I'd probably move. If a snake ever made it's way inside my house I'd probably contemplate suicide from not being able to handle a world where snakes get into homes.
Heights. This used to be way worse, but it's still not good. I used to get vertigo looking at tall buildings. I used to not be able to use ladders at all. Not a huge fan of stairs. If I'm walking across an overpass I keep veering away form the curb and into the street because I can feel the cliff calling me over. It's not as bad as it was. I had to climb a ladder for work for 7 years. Sometimes one handed while carrying tools. I'm still not confident on a ladder, but I can tough it out.
Bugs. I have nightmares of bugs getting in my ears, my mouth, my pee hole. I feel them crawling on me, I feel them in my mouth. It regularly wakes me up from sleep.
There's plenty more, that's just off the top of my head.

Heights, tight spaces, Republicans. You're in denial if bananas is not first on your list! -M There's a difference between a fear of something and despising it for the absolute evil that it is. Clearly bananas fall into the latter category.

A lot of things freak me out. A few years ago I stood on a cliff and leaned over the edge to look at a river 80-100 feet below where a rafter had drowned. At the time I felt safe but everytime I think back to it a little chill goes over my spine. One slip...
The real phobia I have though is spiders. Specifically medium-to-large crawling spiders and especially the Giant House Spider, which can have a leg span of 3 inches and is the fastest spider on the planet. Seeing one of those triggers all sorts of primal caveman thoughts in my head. Every muscle on my back contracts, then I vacate the area in the most direct path I can. I've run right through doors and people to get away.
