I happened to stumble upon these on ebay, having never heard about them. From what the good ole interweb says, they were fanzines published in the early to mid 70's. Are they all independent artwork? Yes lots of great covers from professionals or soon to be professionals. Fred Hembeck did work for them as well. Don Rosa has a long running Information Please column. Lots of other articles and indexes too. And of course all those ads for fan projects and back issues. I bought RBCC for many years in the day and obtained some books with their mail order ads

I had a few issues of RBCC, sold them on eBay when I downsized. They're pretty cool but a little pricy for what they are in my opinion. I think they tend to run about $15 each
