Whether floppies you plan to hunt down at the next convention or trades you'll be hoping to see for the holidays, what books are you hoping to add to your collection soon?
I am positively backlogged with books I've acquired over the past two years and have not read, but there are still a few things I hope to acquire relatively soon:
Floppies:
I'm a few issues shy of completing Avengers #87-300. From all that I've heard, I need to track down a full run of Micronauts
Trades:
Sandman: Overture (preordered) Corto Maltese vol. 3 (just ordered it) Usagi Yojimbo Saga vol. 5 and 6 (preordered) Jack Kirby's Fourth World vol. 2 and 4 (when they eventually come down in price) Prince Valiant vol. 1 The Rocketeer Complete Deluxe Edition Batman Chronicles vol. 7-11 The Spirit Archives vol. 1-2 Berke Breathed's Academia Waltz The Incal The 6 Voyages of Lone Sloane vol. 1

I'm kind of in a sad place with my collecting journey. I am trying to track down Thor issues but not much else. I was thinking about going to the Baltimore Comic show sept 25th but I have too many comics that I haven't read. I have to fill holes with Thunderbolts and Thor and I need one issue of Teen Titans and I'm done.

I'm reaching the end of the "must get" portion of my Want List. I've finished most of the major series I was working on in one form or fashion, but there still are a few books out there that I would like to add to my collection.
Floppies: Captain America #118 - the copy I have is beat to hell, so I would really like to upgrade this since my complete CA run is the real jewel of my collection. Conan the Barbarian #15 and 21 - these would complete 15-115, and I am going to grab the first Essential for the earlier issues because #1 is cost-prohibitive for me. Fantastic Four #112 - this would complete #110 - 600+ Ghost Rider #2 - this would complete the entire series Star Wars #6, 42, 68 and 81 - the last four to complete the series Werewolf by Night #1 and 2 - I'm only getting these two, because I refuse to pay $200+ for a #32 and I have a reprint of the story so I can read it.
There are other books I will grab if I come across them cheap, like Godzilla, Howard the Duck, Incredible Hulk (random issues between #150 and #185) and Red Sonja. There are also a few Giant-Size books that I wouldn't mind having, but they are not priorities or things I actively seek.
In terms of trades, I would love to get my hands on the second and third Fantastic Four Omnibus editions, Thor Masterworks #7 (ridiculously expensive, but the individual issues cost just as much in aggregate), and maybe Daredevil Masterworks #7 if the price comes down.

Number one on my hit list is a copy of the Golden Age Spectre Archives that is affordable. Second would be an affordable copy of the Absolute Edition of New Frontier.
then is Savage Tales #1 and Kull #1 to finish off those runs (have both in collected edition so not in a rush).
Volumes 2 and 3 of the prose Micronauts novel trilogy.
then filling in the runs of Savage Sword of Conan and Heavy Metal, both of which are long term prospects.
I'll get more recent trades and such as we get Amazon cards (things like Fade Out Vol. 2, Five Ghosts Vol. 3, Southern Bastards Vol. 2, the rest of the Sixth Gun stuff, Fear Agent etc. and I will continue to fill in the Hellboy/BPRD/Mignola stuff and Usagi Yojimbo stuff in trades as I come across it affordably as well.
The rest of the wish list is mostly filling in 80s indy series (Grimjack and such), Marvel's Red Sonja, a few things like Sandman Mystery Theatre, and pretty much anything Moebius, Joe Kubert, or Jim Steranko I can get my hands on.
I have a pretty detailed want list that is fairly extensive, but these are long term list sand mostly fodder for bargain hunting at shows, flea markets, and Half Price books rather than stuff I am specifically in the hunt for immediately.

My unrealistic wish list includes the Zap and Eightball hardcover sets.
Realistically, the Usagi Yojimbo Sagas as they come out and some Bronze Age mags whenever my eBay bucks come in. Of course I'll buy more than that, but nothing major. Used trades, cheap trades, a small handful of moderns.

I'm 9 issues short of completing my Creepy magazine collection (same goes with Eerie), I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that you don't have Eerie #1 In all seriousness though, nice collection (at least from what I can see here -- a full run of Fantastic Four??? Wow!), and I absolutely admire your dedication to floppies. Yes, the ads and the letter columns are irreplaceable. I wish the Archive Editions would reprint those pages. Remember when Marvel was doing those floppy reprints back in the '90s that actually reproduced every single page? That was first class archival work.

Yeah, I would love to see that be the difference between Marvel Masterworks and the epics... but everything in the Masterworks (ads, letters, Stan's Soapbox, etc) and let the epics just be the story. As to the topic at hand, I've been trying to catch up reading the stuff I have, and thus haven't bought much past my monthly DCBS pull. I made some good pregess on Iron Man this year, though, so I'm happy

V for Vendetta #4,5 to finish the run Ms. Marvel #16, 17, 18 to finish that run (70's Ms. Marvel that is) ASM #120 and 129 to complete my ASM run from #90-400
That is the top of my wish list currently. I just tend to buy whatever interests me at a certain time point. For example, right now I am in the mood for some horror books with Halloween a comin', so I am on the lookout to accumulate some reading for October. After that, who knows, but eventually I think getting back after Captain Marvel and Neal Adams Batman should become a must.

I don't buy that much anymore in terms of back issues. There's only one back issue, more of a white whale that I'm looking for...

I need 7 issues of Usagi Yojimbo to complete the run. And two issues of Jughead to have #179-up.
Those are the main things. The other things I am looking for are either too huge to contemplate (untold numbers of random Archie back issues), too expensive (the six issues of Journey Into Mystery I am missing to complete my Thor run), or just something I'm screwing around with for no reason (the two issues of Hero for Hire I need to finish the run).

World's Finest 251--easy to find, but I really don't want to pay $40 for it, haha! Always on the lookout for old Archie comics.

I feel like a spoilsport... I'm not looking for anything anymore. I wouldn't mind finding a decently-priced copy of the earliest issues of Conan the barbarian or Master of Kung Fu, but I already read those issues and have several types of reprints for them... it would really just be a completist thing. I think my heavy collecting days ended when I completed my Savage sword run.
The next things I'm really looking forward to are all reprint books: the third Walking dead compendium, the eventual second Saga hardcover, the next Burne Hogarth Tarzan hardcover (Tarzan vs the nazis, who can resist?) and things of that nature.
