And now a bit of Breaking News as the solicitations hit... Cancelled titles up to eightThe other two are digital first comics Batman'66 and Sensation Comics. I'm very sad to see Batman'66 go, but it will have a mini series with The Man From UNCLE for the next six months. I'm a very unhappy to see both Batman 66 and Sensation Comics gone and because of that - I'm not getting the Batman with The Man From Uncle as a protest of them cancelling both of these digital comics. I was shocked to hear this and looks like my list of comics is shrinking before my very eyes. |

I haven't read the new series yet, but want to.
The characters are certainly intriguing and I'd like to read a good story with them.
Given the success of Guardians of the Galaxy, and the buzz this book has had, I'm surprised more people aren't reading it.

I am glad DC is honoring their 12 issue promised commitment to fans and the creators of this book. It (along with Dr. Fate) was one of 2 books that highly tempted me to break the moratorium on new singles to get (and if DC had print subs available like Marvel does I might have done so), but I eventually decided to trade wait on this and was disappointed to see it was cancelled so early. I'll definitely be buying Vol. 1 of the trade when it comes out.

Well, if the loud minority on the internet, and this committee of one are correct, people were angry about them killing off a major character like Kyle Rayner in the first issue..seemingly just to make the characters seem bad ass,and didn't appreciate the shenigans that he didn't really die. Also, I read the 1st issue and found it difficult to follow, though granted I had a bad attitude going in. |
