Here's a nutty idea. Remember those origin recaps at the top of the splash pages in the 70s Marvel books? A quick two or three sentences that summed up the main characters and were ALWAYS followed by: Stan Lee Presents: ___________!

For example:

Please offer your own origin blurb OR, if you're really clever, the proposed blurb of another member of the boards. Don't forget to include pathos. I'll start:

"Once, he was a man, a subscriber named Phil Maurice, until an internet experiment went awry. . .and he changed. The serum that was to have made him a super-poster combined with forces in the shadow-haunted South to turn him into a shambling, mindless mockery of his former self. . .part man, part monster!
