I tend to hate cowardly, sniveling douchebags that can't take what they dish out. Like James Carpinello playing Bobby Saint in The Punisher or Paul Reiser as Burke in Aliens are the first two that come to mind. If you're a bad guy and can take what you dish out, I have all the respect in the world for you as a villian.

I chose Madsen from your list because of "The Ear" (which forever ruined that Stealer's Wheels song for me), but my personal favorite would be Andy Robinson as "Scorpio" in Dirty Harry. The hatred I feel for the character is visceral and diminishes not one iota no matter how many times I've seen that picture.

Madsen did quite well being a dick in his bit part in Sin City's That Yellow Bastard. |
