Those who hate bananas are overcompensating for their envy of that fruit's phallic ...err... something or other. This has been very well documented Actually quite the opposite. Many who love bananas do so out of longing, as in "I wish I (or my male companion) looked like that". Because of this, it's a well known fact that banana enthusiasts can get quite turned on by seeing someone eat them.

Banana myth #3: Bananas are fruit. The banana plant is an herb and the yellow objects that grow off from it are botanically berries. And berries aren't fruit? They are indeed.

And berries aren't fruit? They are indeed. It just goes to show the duplicitous nature of their evil. The plant is an herb that grows a berry that people consider a fruit. Berries differ from fruits in that they have no stone or pit, but have many pips or seeds throughout, and develop from the outer wall of the flower's ovary (pericarp). Other berries that are generally not considered fruit are tomatoes, eggplants, and cucumbers. So berries may be fruit in some cases, but in others they are considered vegetables. In the case of bananas they are just evil.

Next they'll be telling us wearing the tin foil on our heads will protect us from the evil bananas you know.... -M

I'll have you know that we don't need any other crackpot conspiracy groups, our crackpot conspiracy group is fine on its own.
Also aluminum foil is an excellent protection from some banana aspects, though not as the headgear you so depreciatingly suggest. If you wrap bananas tightly in enough layers of foil, their noxious smell will be contained.
And selling more aluminum foil wouldn't help us in the least, since I'm not receiving any kickbacks from foil manufacturers. Which is not to say that I'm above accepting kickbacks to further the cause (hint, hint, Reynolds people).

A banana is not a fruit...if it was it would emit a pleasant smell like most fruits do...not the toxic, foul, deadly and life threatening fume the banana emits.

... Other berries that are generally not considered fruit are tomatoes,... Or as they said on Big Bang Theory regarding degrees of wrongness: "It's wrong to say a tomato is a vegetable. It's very wrong to say it's a suspension bridge."

If there’s even a remote possibility of bananas in something I’m expected to eat, I will find it. “You’ll never taste it!” Oh yeah? I found it. It’s right here; this mess of mush that looks like mashed potatoes and snot put through a blender that smells like a chewed piece of Laffy Taffy. That’s the mushy godawfulness. Right there! Found it! Told ya so. You can't fool me. Take it away from me and burn it...burn it good. You evil, putrid, foul smelling, yellow colored mush, gag inducing spawn of Satan himself.
