It's hard for me NOT to get excited about the words "P. Craig Russell" and "Elric," but I just don't feel the need for this restoration. The original version doesn't suffer from quality issues and is still accessible. I suppose that if I were a more trade-oriented reader, I would want this, but I'd much rather crowdfund a new Russell Elric project. Man, if they had him go back and re-draw the later Elric stories Roy Thomas did without him!

Interesting. I would have figured that Titan would foot the bill for this as they currently have the rights to Moorcock's properties. They've been reprinting the First! Elric series in some very nice HCs, plus the remarkable Euro series.
