Every MONTH, we will vote on a MEMBER of the community who serves as a MODEL of what makes this community so great. The winner will be inducted as a Monthly Model Member, with all the dubious honor that entails.

What are we looking for in our model members? Service to the community, initiation of engaging conversations, having well-expressed insights, or just plain being friendly. Who makes this community a great place to be?

The M.M.M. for May was our own benevolent dictator, shaxper.

So go ahead and tell us who you think our second inductee should be!

The process:
1) Each month a thread for voting will be started, usually within a few days of the start of the next month
2) Either nominate a poster or vote for a poster who has already been nominated by posting in the thread.
3) Each member may make at most one nomination in addition to at most one vote on another nominee.
4) Each nomination should include a brief (sentence, say) explanation. Votes may or may not include this.
5) Voting will conclude precisely 1 week after the thread opens, and the winner will be announced.

Examples:
If the person you wanted to nominate has already been nominated, then just vote for that person.
If the person you want to nominate hasn't, then nominate them! Be sure to include an explanation
After your nomination, if another great candidate is nominated, go ahead and vote for them too.
