According to this, the series is probably being curtailed to 8 issues instead of 12 due to poor sales Probably because the greedy S.O.B.'s charged $3.99 an issue. I bought the 1st one, and enjoyed it, but when the 2nd issue was also $3.99? Nope, dropped it and will get it in trade form cheap from Amazon or my Comic Shop when they have a sale.

I'm not surprised... I just read #4 last night, and it's just boring. I don't think there's enough people out there the care about the minor Silver Age characters they're focusing on to generate much interest. Also many that do care, like myself, don't like these new bloodthirsty versions of Garth and Donna. That, too. Garth was more like Namor than anything (without the cool regal-ness). Donna isn't really 'on screen' enough, but I've heard she's essentially a villain in Wonder Woman.

I enjoyed the first issue, but after that the series dragged. I am still reading it, hoping for a great payoff. Not a fan of the way Garth and Donna are portrayed. So far the highlight of the book for me is seeing the friendship of Roy and Gnarkk. A few of the scenes with Lilith and Mr. Twister have been creepy. A nice nod the 70s Teen Titans. Also enjoying the scenes with Mal and Karen.

I think I'm just annoyed at the fact that all this can't possible work with the short time the New 52 has supposedly been around. Over in Starfire, we find out that Dick and Kori were definitely an item, and they act like old friends... when the heck did that happen? That doesn't have to be Titans-related, of course, but it does have to have time to exist, and there just doesn't seem to be any.

It seems like they just want us to ignore what they said about continuity being so short. You can chalk it up to results from Convergence altering reality if you want an in story reason I suppose or just let them sweep it under the rug with out any other explanation

It never made sense in the first place, so I'm ok with ignoring it now.

I'll never understand holding onto continuity to the detriment to one's reading enjoyment, especially when it's far easier and more enjoyable to count the stories you do enjoy and discard the ones you don't.

The series has been great for the last issue or 2. Lots of references to 60s Titans stuff. No doubt this series is leading into Rebirth this summer. As a long time Titans fan, the latest issue was like reading an updated version of the early 70s Titans.

Seems they are going for a slow build and all the big stuff is saved for the last 45 pages or so.
