Anyone pick this up yesterday? I did and enjoyed it very much. Nice to see the original team seeing some action. Definitely a mystery going on in the book and I wonder if this story will serve as a way to bring back the original Wally West. The art was a bit inconsistent throughout the book, but that didn't distract my enjoyment. Lots of easter eggs included that longtime Titans fans will catch.

Aqualad becomes the second original Titan to be introduced killing people. I suppose I should just be happy Herald wasn't sonicly blowing peoples brains out and Bumblebee didn't explode out of some ones stomach...
I did notice Liliths last name isn't Jupiter.

I'm going to pick up a copy of this book in a week or two and see how I like it.

I'm used to new comics referencing (and sometimes outright repeating) old comics, but this is the first time I've seen a generally bad comic from way past a property's heyday being invoked.

So far I'm not sure if the reference goes beyond just the title, and sort of the idea of a reunion gone bad and if those are the only similarities to the New Titans story I'll be fine. As for the issue itself I'm interested in how the concept of how the original titans operated in the new 52 and why everyone forgot. I'm hoping its more than elements of convergence just randomly leaking through, but we'll see.

I liked it and think it shows promise. I understand this is a 12 issue maxi-series. I hope we see a new ongoing title featuring the Titans once this story reaches its conclusion.

I was pretty disappointed... I think Lillith and Mal are the Titans I care the least about. I'm much more interested in the Wolfman/Perez era.. which the series seems to be trying hard to ignore. I'll stick with it for a bit, but I don't have high hopes.

I think they are ignoring the Wolfman/Perez era Titans in favor of giving those characters bigger opportunities elsewhere: Cyborg in his own monthly and in Justice League Starfire in her own monthly title Raven and Changeling (Beast Boy) in the Teen Titans. If the Titans indeed get a new ongoing monthly title, I would love to see Changeling as at least a guest star, if not a regular. So far, this is my personal favorite take on Caveboy, Lilith, Herald, and Bumblebee. I didn't care so much for these characters in the past, but find the reinterpretation intriguing. Sorry you are disappointed. I, myself, am enjoying it immensely. I am glad Hawk and Dove are included. I would love it if Wally West Flash could be included somehow at some point.

I never really cared for Caveboy or Herald either but I'm also really liking them here as well. Herald's unfolding story is probably my favorite thing about this book so far, and Caveboy's relationship with Roy is funny.

According to this, the series is probably being curtailed to 8 issues instead of 12 due to poor sales

I'm not surprised... I just read #4 last night, and it's just boring. I don't think there's enough people out there the care about the minor Silver Age characters they're focusing on to generate much interest. I'm sure lots of people, like me, bought it hoping to figure out how(if at all) the Wolfman/Perez era fits into the new 52, and it's clear that's not a focus.
The Lois and Clark book I haven't read yet... the 1st 2 issues seemed VERY similar to Spiderman: Renew Your Vows to me... hopefully it'll be different enough to be interesting.

Also many that do care, like myself, don't like these new bloodthirsty versions of Garth and Donna.
