First trailer debuted on Sunday during The Walking Dead
Doesn't seem to be extremely faithful to the comic (then again, it's just a teaser trailer) but I'm intrigued nonetheless.

Quite interested in this. Also made some nice money when back-issue prices shot up

Series premier tonight on AMC
My anticipation has waned, but I'll at least check out the first 2-3 episodes to see if it's worth it or not.

I really dug it. They nailed the feel of the comic.
Just sucks that we have to wait 2 weeks for another episode.

2 week layoff?
Well that's lame
Hope it's not in favor of the crappy Walking Dead spinoff.

Just watched it this morning. Really enjoyed it, and glad that it's deviating from the comic and not just retelling those stories verbatim.
Haven't set up a series recording for it yet, but it's looking promising at least initially.

Not sure if it's exclusive to Prime members or not, but I just purchased the pilot episode on Amazon Instant Video for free.
Will re-watch tonight
I became very skeptical once I learned that Seth Rogen would be an executive producer, but like I said, the pilot was VERY good. Can't wait for more.

I enjoyed it quite a bit. Tulip especially stood out amongst the cast. She just barely edged out Cassidy for the most Ennis-esque character on the show. I thought the kid playing Arseface was good, too. He managed to pull off a very sympathetic performance from underneath that makeup.
If I had one complaint, it would be the Arseface makeup. Of all the places to cut corners, that's one of the worst. Come on, AMC, cough up some dough for effects.

Hmmm, While I welcome the story and character changes, I was quite underwhelmed : I read Preacher from day one till the end. Some months I was thrilled by it, had a dark smile on my face after the reading, some other months I just felt dirty after reading the latest issue. This wasn't bad at all, it just never made me feel anything, certainly no ambiguous feelings. And I really don't remember Tulip being this psychopathic and cartoony... I guess everything was much much more cartoony with the three main characters. I hopethey'll manage to find a better balance and not just make it feel like a parody, which this pilot kinda did.

Nice follow up episode
Really cool to see the Saint of Killers introduced. I think they're going to spread out his origin story over the course of the season.
And the chainsaw scene in the church was pretty nuts.
I'm really liking the show so far.

I'm not a huge fan of the comic, but I checked it out briefly.. watched maybe 1/2 the premiere... meh. It felt almost like a parody to me... perhaps it's just that the extreme violence doesn't work in 'live action' for me.

Second episode was passable. Might only give it a couple more weeks, because it really hasn't grabbed me yet.
