Mego Meet is being held in Columbus this year, I might go for the day on Sunday (can;t make the Saturday)... -M That looks like someplace I could get myself in a passel of trouble. I have a feeling there are a lot of places you could say that about...🤔

So Marty Abrams, the scion of the founder of Mego, is going to be a guest at this year's Mego Meet (first weekend of June in Columbus, OH) and has hinted at a return of Mego as a producer of action figures...
from the Mego Corp.'s new facebook page....
and there is supposed to be a big presentation/announcement at Mego MEet this year.
No word on what licenses (if any they might have). The DC license is tied up with Figures Toy Company, buy EmCee toys recently gave up the Marvel license and the Star Trek and POTA licenses for Mego style figures are currently available as well.
They have been playing up the hype over at the Mego Museum without revealing anything specific, but it does look like the return of Mego in some form may be in the offing.

I've deleted two posts today on this sub-board dealing with my purchase of a Mechagodzilla action figure and I was very disappointed in the size of it and I was mislead by the seller that claimed to be a 12.5 inches figure. In reality, it was merely a 5.5 inches instead and the instructions of how to put it together in Japanese and having said that -- I returned it thru eBay and made a complaint about it. I'll have my monies returned back to me on Monday -- no questions asked.

vintage Micronauts commercial...
I had all three as a kid. I currently have a Biotron (near complete) but not a Space Glider or Hydrocopter.

The Navarone playset from Marx has come up in conversations here fairly often, but I just found out today that in later years, Mego put out a version of the same set rebranded from the Marx one. Here's a pic of it, you can see the Mego logo in the lower right corner of the box... apparently the Mego set is rarer and thus people ask more money for it when it is up for sale... -M

I'm really excited that the Marvel Legends 80 Years line is being released right about now. Some folks have gotten their hands on these already, and I've watched some reviews on YouTube on almost all of the new releases. They look great. Wish I had the scratch to get one, if I can find one here at retailers in Macau. My figure collecting days are largely over, but if I had to have one it would be the Captain America one. I think it's the best figure I've seen released of Cap. The sculpt work is amazing. These are all the standard 6" figures. For what you're getting design wise, it's worth the price in my opinion. With how high that standards have become with toy manufacturing (and even people online making awesome custom figures), Hasbro with this line I feel, has largely come out on top. Colossus and Juggernaut are also being released in a 2-Pack. Also, Wolverine with his first appearance alongside The Incredible Hulk. Not a fan of this Wolverine mask, but amazingly on a closer inspection via a reviewer, it looks pretty good due to the sculpt work. I was shocked. The real gem here is that Hulk figure though. Beauty.

Yeah, that Hulk figure might be my favorite design yet. The Thor figure is really nice as well. I have to say that I like all of them, save for Iron Man's mask, though it might just be how the photo came out. I have a few of the older Legend's figures: Hulk, Thor, Dr. Doom, Dr. Strange, Silver Surfer and the Thing. Overall, I think this is Marvel's most impressive line of figures.

New Marvel Legends panel concluded at SDCC not too long ago. Here are some photos of what is in store in the near future!!! I have to say, I was thinking/hoping/wishing for some of these figures I thought might take a few years to get. Here are the new recruits! I'm super hyped for a new classic Doom figure, She Hulk, and my number one desire out of everything Shang Chi. Finally a Shang Chi figure. Hopefully not an exclusive. Here is a closer look at Shang Chi, alongside Squirrel Girl, and Cosmic Ghost Rider's bike. And here is Cosmic Ghost Rider Here is a photo of 90's Havok/Polaris 2 pack!!! And a new three pack with Jim Lee era Wolverine, Cyclops with field jacket, and Jean Grey. A lot of people will probably go for this for Jean alone so they can complete their Jim Lee X-Men roster. She looks good to me. Especially the hair sculpt. It wasn't too long ago that a tiger striped Wolverine was released, so that might irk some folks. Especially since this one looks just as good and comes with multiple face/hand swaps. I wanted the Jim Lee Cyclops, but decided too late. Now it's super over priced. This entire set might be a good consolation for what I really wanted a while ago, which was the Toy R Us exclusive Cyclops/Dark Phoenix two pack. That is out of the question now. Lastly, they're coming out with a STRONG GUY FIGURE ARE YOU JOKING? This is a pipe dream turned reality. Apparently it's a build a figure. Dang, I'm not that huge a collector where I'll buy an entire wave just to get one character, but it's STRONG GUY! Here is Morph too. Anyways, Hasbro really blew the doors off this summer with the 80 years line, and now these at SDCC. Personal wishlist is Shang Chi, Doom, She Hulk, Cyclops/Jean/Wolverine 3 pack, Havok/Polaris, and Strong Guy. No way I'm getting all those though. So I'll probably settle for 3 of them. Some tough decisions for the holiday season!!! EDIT: Okay one last thing. There was some stuff I missed, but apparently the Marvel 80 years line will also have a new Punisher figure. Looks pretty decent in my opinion. Will probably pass on this one though: Also, a Deathlok figure from Uncanny X-Force: Dani Moonstar! Walgreens exclusive though

As a general rule I don't collect much in the way of Marvel figures, but I don't know if I can resist Shang-Chi.

what is that crap with the Dani Moonstar figure?
Alternate head/hands so you can make the figure Wolfsbane or Karma? that's some BS. .just release a 3pack.
