Have something to say about a toy that doesn't really warrant its own thread? Now you've got a place to share it.

(The idea for this thread occurred to me tonight when I had this to share and realized there was no place for it)
So, after seven years, I accomplished a life-long dream tonight: I got my first born to like Transformers! It didn't take long for her to get the hang of the original toys, and she quickly latched on to Soundwave and his cassettes as her favorites. The funny thing was, the biggest learning curve for her was neither remembering the names nor the transformations -- it was trying to understand what the heck a cassette was.

I tried to get my two younger daughters (who has some passing interest) into wrestling with some Rumblers and a ring, but it was mostly to no avail, sadly.

I always loved those old rubber WWF figures. I spent less time "playing" with them and more time just flinging them at the ring and watching them bounce!

I actually combined them with my transformers for my Toybox Wrestling Federation Rumblers are as close as they have to the old rubber ones... they're maybe 1/4 the size, unposable, but they have some sort of spring in them so they either clothesline people or jump. They're cheap ( a couple bucks each), and pretty fun to fling at each other

If I still had any love for wrestling (or even had a kid who did), I would so be buying these up in a heartbeat.

Are Gundamwing toys bad idea to give to a 2-year old boy? Definitely a bad idea. Lots of small parts and accessories to choke on, plus I doubt they'd really be interesting to most two year olds.

OK thanks for the tip. The kid loves watching Gundamwing, maybe I should just buy him some rubber toys for now.

These would be more his speed: Nice! Yeah, they're from the original series but they're still gundams and much more kid friendly.
