Coming soon will be the first story arc of the new fan-fic, The Justice League of America. In this thread, you will find details about the new series and characters. The thread will serve as a jumping on point, if you will, with character bios and what the series will be about.
The Justice League of America
In the not too distant future, most of the earth's heroes have retired to have families of their own. Some of the heroes appear when needed, however crime and villainy is at all-time low. When Starro the Conqueror emerges to threaten mankind and inspires new or retired villains to strike, the children of the some of the world's greatest heroes rally together to stop Starro and form a new version of the Justice League of America. The JLA is headquartered in a satellite that orbits the earth. Access to the satellite is granted by transporter tubes located across the United States of America.
Inspired by the new Justice League of America, a second wave of new heroes form a version of Titans West, mentored by former Teen Titans members. Titans West is based out of Jupiter Labs in Palm Springs, California.
This earth has had its share of many crisises and has some similarities to the traditional DC Universe as well as major differences.
First character bio coming soon........

Introducing Superman:
Jonathon Kent is the son of Clark Kent and Lana Lang. Jon, as is he known to his friends, has all the powers of his father, however due to having a human mother, he is not quite at the same level of power as the original Superman. In moments of extreme duress, Superman must take a rest in order to recover. He can fly, has x-ray vision, heat vision, super speed, super breath, invulnerability, bullet proof, super hearing, and can withstand the harshness of space and underwater, although he can not spend extreme amounts of time in space or underwater. Jon's powers developed a bit slower and had to work very hard to harness them. He was trained in all forms of Kryptonian combat by his father and Kara Zor-El (Supergirl). He also spent time training on Paradise Island with the Amazons. He is very good friends with Scott Trevor (Wonder Man). He is the current chairman of the Justice League of America. He has distant relationship with Superboy (Conner Trevor). Conner assumed he would become Superman at some point and does not want to be known as Jon's "sidekick". Batwoman has an unrequited crush on Superman. In his secret identity, he works for WGBS media, writing article and blogs, and is a sometimes presenter for their conservative news program.
This version of Superman looks like the movie version as seen in Man of Steel.

Introducing Batwoman
Martha "Marti" Wayne is the daughter of Bruce Wayne and Silver St. Cloud. After Marti was born, her father retired from his career as Batman, passing the mantle to Dick Grayson. Marti grew up in a loving home, unaware of her father's past although she suspected he was keeping something from her. Marti demonstrated savy business skills and launched her own brand of teen lifestyle items. Bruce and Silver were very proud of her initiative to start her business--and become successful at it. On her 16th birthday, Marti was snooping for her presents and discovered the bat-cave and her father's secret. When she learned her "Uncle Dick" was now the Batman and her entire family knew of her dad's heroic past, Marti felt out of place in her own home. She took her parents to court, had herself legally emancipated, and moved to Switzerland to attend a posh private school. After the initial shock of learning her father's secret, she devoted herself to her studies and physical training. She sought out the former Bat-Girl, Betty Kane for training and returned to Gotham City a confident 22 year old. She quickly made amends with her family, but tensions rose when she debuted as Batwoman. Her relationship with her father is very tense as she has assumed a leadership role in the Justice League of America. Marti has a crush on her teammate, Superman, feelings he does not reciprocate. Batwoman is an above average athlete and hand to hand combatant. She employs a variety of bat-themed items, much like her father used. Batwoman has also demonstrated she is very much a keen detective.

Sara went off to law school. After losing her first case due to a judge being paid off, Laurel decided to use her powers for justice. The new Dr. Fate
For many years the helmet of Nabu was lost after the deaths of Kent and Inza Nelson. About 7 years ago, a young linguistics student named Jared Devlin was taking a long hike to meet some friends and stumbled into the Tower of Fate. Somehow Jared could pass through the illusion and protective spells around the tower. The Tower had no doors or windows, so Jared was perplexed. He could hear noises within the tower but did not understand why. He thought he could hear voices that resembled old Egyptian dialects. He repeated them aloud and the tower opened to him. Jared entered the sacred place and discovered the helmet. He was able to decipher warnings on the pedestal but did not heed them. Jared donned the helmet and began a psychic battle with Nabu for control. The battle lasted 5 years. Jared was able to banish Nabu’s consciousness from the helmet. He learned of the Nelsons’ time and struggles with Nabu and decided to assume the mantle of Doctor Fate. This new Lord of Order has to chart his own course without the guidance or threat of takeover from Nabu.

Green Lantern (Created by The Stranger) Alanna Rayner was born to two heroic families. Her father was Kyle Rayner, a Green Lantern and then the first White Lantern. Her mother was Jennie-Lynn Hayden (Jade), the daughter of the original Green Lantern, Alan Scott. Kyle and Jade eventually married and began a life of semi-retirement. Into that life, Alanna was born. Kyle and Jade kept nothing from her. She knew of their heroic careers, she spent vacations on Oa and still maintained a normal life, even if she was teased that she had green hair, she had a strong enough will to brush it off. When she was in her early teen age years, Kyle and Jade brought Alanna to the JSA Brownstone headquarters. When Alanna was introduced to the current Justice Society, she fell ill. The source of her ailment was contained in JSA headquarters. Alan Scott, as well as several of the original team, had passed away. However, his ring and battery were displayed in the JSA museum at their HQ. Alanna felt a compulsion to go to the case. When she came close to the display, the ring and battery broke through the barrier and landed at her feet. Alanna had an affinity for the StarHeart, the energy that gave her grandfather his power. Once the JSA determined the evil that existed within the Starheart went completely dormant when Alanna touched it, Kyle and Jade took Alanna back home and helped train her to become the latest Green Lantern of Earth.

Red Bird
Wayne Grayson is the son of Dick Grayson, the former Robin and retired Batman. Wayne grew up in a single parent home, never knowing who his mother was. He had been told that his mother died in child birth, but Dick rarely mentioned her. Wayne grew up a bit resentful of his father, who was always out protecting Gotham City leaving Wayne to be cared for by the household staff. Being naturally athletic, Wayne decided to become a new version of Robin much to the protests of his father. Wayne was good friends with Marti Wayne, the new Batwoman. She secretly started training him and recommended him for membership in Titans West. He became fast friends with Superboy. Using the technology of Jupiter Labs, Wayne has discovered his mother is not dead and is one of these women: Dick's college girlfriend Lori Elton, Alfred's daughter Julia Pennyworth, or Spyral agent Helena Bertinelli. Red Robin is a natural athlete and acrobat. He uses a utility belt much like the original Robin used. Redbird pretends to be lighthearted (in fact he is quite sad as he doesn't know who his mother is), and does not always take his Titans West mentors' advice to heart. He often disappears for days at a time researching the identity and whereabouts of his mother.

Being a male heir, there was a revolt by some of the resentful Amazons. Diana is very protective of her son as he was almost murdered as a baby. Trained to defend himself by his mother, grandmother, and Aunt Donna, he became a master of all Amazon forms of combat. He received IADC training by his father Steve as well. Upon reaching adulthood, Scott launched his own career as a male model, even representing the USA at the Mr. World pageant, becoming the eventual winner. When Starro the conqueror reappeared, Scott joined other new heroes forming the new Justice League of America. He eventually married his teammate, Jem and had a son. Scott and Jerrica also adopted Superboy, who returned after being held captive by Nasthalthia Luthor, neice of Lex Luthor. Wonder Man can fly, has the lasso of truth, wears the projectile deflecting bracelets of submission, as well as all the powers of his mother. Both Wonder Man and Jem are reserve members of the JLA.
