I prefer a married Peter Parker. And it's way past time for Dan Slott to move on. There. I said it. You need to marvel at his awesome might.

I don't know Deadpool from the comics but I saw the movie preview a week or two ago and I couldn't stand the sound of the guy's voice, the actor. Some of the lines might have been OK if not for that.

Ryan Reynolds bothers everyone. Don't worry. There's going to be a very specific crowd this movie will mainly attract. And I won't be in that crowd.

There are a few super-hero movies I have never bothered to see...Halle Berry's Catwoman, Shaquille On'Neil's Steel among them. I suspect Deadpool will be added to that list. They'd have to pay me to go see it, and my hourly rate would have to be quite substantial before I would subject myself to it.

I simply have no interest in the character or anything else Liefeld ever created. Characters that are so blatantly amalgamated have always irked me: take on part Spider-Man's personality, two-part's Deathstroke costume and weapons, and add a dash of Wolverine's Weapon X origin and...presto! Deadpool has always looked to me like something an overly caffeinated 12 year old boy would come up with during the character creation process of a super-hero rpg.

From what I can gather, Deadpool took the title from Spider-man as the wise cracking character. But to me, I wish he would just STFU.

David Michelinie's Amazing Spider-man run is the best run the character has had.
There I said it.

David Michelinie's Amazing Spider-man run is the best run the character has had. There I said it. That's bold of you. I am partial to the stories from 190-260.

David Michelinie's Amazing Spider-man run is the best run the character has had. There I said it. And since McFarlane was the artist of a good chunk of that run, would you rate his work above that of Ditko, Romita, Kane, Andru, and others who have worked on the character? Because art is at least half of what makes up the quality of a run-you can't have a quality run of visually told stories without the visuals and have to be taken into account when you you claim something is the best ever... -M

I have a theory that Ryan Reynolds and Ben Affleck made a secret pact to hog as many superhero roles as possible just to piss off all the fans. Something must be done.

They need to make a new DD movie and have the current Netflix actor play DD. Because that guy is definitely swoon-worthy. Oh, and a great actor, too.

I don't feel strongly enough to make this a 'There I Said It', but...I thought Ryan Reynolds was OK...ish...as GL.(This is where I didn't not say something). It was the plot, pacing, and just everything else connected with the writing, that was a steaming pile of Qwardian waste matter...or is that 'anti-waste matter'...or 'waste-anti-matter'? Stupid Qwardian grammar.
