And just about the only artists who could do exciting car chases in comics. Well on a related note to my recent Marshall Law thread, I sumon the Paul Bartel spirit! These look wild. Might have to check 'em out.

What comics did he work on? he never really stayed on any one series for too long. Zorro is available in trade and is great. Hot Wheels is the best car chase comic ever. I really want a best-of collection of his DC superhero work.

I really want a best-of collection of his DC superhero work. It would probably include the little beauty that kicks off like this..

Trade Paper backs and other REPRINTS are just that, Reprints. They have no long term value. It drives me crazy when people are paying nutty prices for TPB's that are out of print. Buy the originals , man.
There. I said it.

The fact that a character named "Spider-Gwen" has an ongoing comic tells me that Marvel Has, officially and for all time, run out of ideas. A idea like that belongs in a throw away What If ? issue.

Buy the originals , man. Hey, I don't know... The value of anything is determined by how much people want it. Even if it is rarity that drives prices up, a first-edition hardcover reprint will probably be harder to find after a few years than the original comics it contains. When I look at what first edition Tintin books go for (despite their never going out of print), I wish I had been more careful with mine when I was seven!!!

Nothing can be more valuable than an original. These reprints have a temporary uptick in price.
