56 years old and I’ve yet to see a gray hair anywhere on my body. You can still see your entire body? Bravo, sir!

You clearly got more than your share of pigment. Maybe that's your superpower. I am 49 and I have Hal Jordan style grey temples, which is just fine by me

In the early 70's, when I bought my first subscriptions, the ads never mentioned that the comics would be mailed folded, so it was one of the two shocks I got, the other being that the comics arrived 2 weeks or more after I saw them on the racks, making it a frustrating experience, not a fun one. I seem to recall that in the early 80's, the subscription ads started proclaiming "All comics mailed flat!". One of the two titles I was subscribed to, DC's THE SHADOW, was cancelled before I got all the issues I paid for, and I was not offered an alternative for the 2 or 3 issues I was owed. Compensating for that, though, my other subscription was to BRAVE & BOLD, which published six 100-page Super-Spectacular issues and one giant during my subscription, and I got the full 12 issues for the price of twelve 20-cent issues I originally paid for. Those Super-Spec issues, by the way, were mailed flat. Well, at least they were nice enough to send you something instead of laughing while taking your money and running for the hills. I mean, do you feel like you got your money's worth?

I have a few odd grays on my head, but it's mostly the same as ever.
My face, though. My hair is skipping right over gray and going right onto shining dazzling white. It started in my mid-late 30s, which is non-coincidentally when we started having kids.

I found my first grey hair about a week before my 40th Birthday. Hooray...Happy Birthday to me! I still have relatively few compared to other guys in their 50s, which I'm thankful for. I've had a touch of grey in my beard since my late 30s...and of course its grown to more than just a touch in the interveening decade and a half. But, all in all, I don't have much grey hair at all for my age.

In another stroke of luck, my wife likes the gray in the beard, so again, the lazier option is what she likes, so I'll take ease of work.

Can't recall Ghost Rider wearing red in US comics but it's interesting to see. Also funny that his name is translated into Spanish but Spidey's isn't.

Looks like you can't get a copy of the Christian comic Hansi on ebay anymore, they are pulling it and cancelling bids whenever they spot it.
I'd like to nominate the decision-maker for that one as clown of the year 2024.

Huh, strange, since they are allowing bids for the actual book the comic was based off of.

My beard took a little longer, with a skunk stripe that widened over time. At about 50, it was completely white.

You can nominate them, but "Clown of the Year" is a really crowded field, with some truly outstanding nominations, already.

I started going grey in my early '20s, as had my father. As for my beard, I started growing it about twelve years ago after my sister's hands started shaking too bad to safely shave me. I hated shaving anyway and I like the way it looks so I've been bearded ever since.
Cei-U! I summon the hair share!

Like Slam, I also have no gray on my head, which surprises me a bit - I'm 67. I've been clean-shaven for almost 30 years so I don't know what color my facial hair is now.

That would be my doing. I'm flagging every copy that comes up, so eventually I'll have the only available copies and can sell them for £1,000,000 each... smart, huh? I call it my "Pay for My Kid's College on My Beanie Babies Collection" plan. How'd that work out for all those BB collectors?
Actually, it would probably pass the smell test if the swastika on the cover were obfuscated in the image, and people didn't use stupid, baiting keywords when listing it. It's probably an AI algorithm item-scan picking it up and flagging it, not an individual.

But the paperback novel is not affected and that has a swastika on it too.
