I never forgave Crystal for dumping Johnny Storm for Pietro.
There. I said it.

I never forgave the writer who came up with that storyline, because it changed Crystal into a different, much less interesting character, one that was defined by her relationship with whatever guy she was currently involved with.
So I don,t mind the idea of her dumping Johnny in itself - he was kind of a jerk to her sometimes in the Kirby/Lee FF stories that define the character to me - but yeah, dumping him just to go off with QPietro was a bad, bad idea and pretty much finished Crystal as an independent character.

The insult to injury that followed was that they made her a slut who loved to have sex with anyone.

The insult to injury that followed was that they made her a slut who loved to have sex with anyone. A sexist remark considering that Johnny Storm was a horny male always chasing women. But we don't consider men like that as sluts. Its expected of them. Otherwise Johnny Storm is a vanilla bland character

I don't think any argument could sway the way i feel about that subject. And as an interesting aside, Johnny Storm had no more than 4 girlfriends in Fantastic Four 1-416. Crystal had more relationships in that time.

They really don't have a choice, unless, through some instantaneous mutation, men suddenly gain the ability to carry a fetus to term and give birth. Otherwise, we're looking at the end of the human race. The point, however, that I believe you are trying to make refers to each individual woman's decision to claim her sexuality and do with it as she wants, as virgin, whore or somewhere in between.

Girls ain't allowed to have fun.

So subtle that even I don't see what I did there. Ahh. For a while there, I felt like an idiot staring myself blind on the pun that apparently went over my head. In the end, I figured it was wordplay on 'immaculate', 'macula', blemish, spot, etc. Or a really forced 'spotted dick' joke. But that probably belongs in the pudding thread.
