Wow, I had forgotten that this story about killer robots being chased into the past to prevent a dystopian robot-controlled future even uses the word "Terminate" prominently to describe their behavior. Anybody think Jame Cameron and Bill Wisher didn't read this 1981 comic book when they were writing drafts of their film in 1981? Probably not. Both Cameron and Claremont were cribbing from Harlan Ellison's "Soldier." Interesting! I think I'll start a new thread about this.

(Does that make me Highfather?) No, it's the pot that makes you high. And don't call me "Father".

Iceman should rent himself out for parties as a Sno-Cone machine and get rich! Just don't eat the yellow ones! There. I said it.

It’s pronounced Constantyne, not Constanteen! It says so right there in the comic!!!
There! I said it.

As long as Rock Raider complains about Iceman being gay, I'll keep saying Constanteen, with and added slight voice impeachment due to my mustache.
There! I said it.

Yeah, as in most similar instances, I'm with the guy in the Dead t-shirt - and Sting has always been so pretentious, of course he would pronounce it 'Tine' ...

Well, I most indeed own a few Mickey Hart and Diga Rhythm Band LPs, so I guess so, except for the red hair (Jamie Delano is the best writer! There! I said it).

I believe most Britishers would pronounce "tyne", along with Sting... including Alan Moore and Garth Ennis. It's in America that people say "teen", and of course that's what the Constantine movie and the Justice League Dark cartoon did, much to my annoyance! (I haven't seen the TV show, but I'd bet that they went with teen as well).

Well, to temper your annoyance, you could also think of it as the origin of the name, one of the oldest cities in the world, Algeria's قسنطينة or Constantine (pronounced teen), or even the great capital of the byzantine-roman empire, Constantinople, which is highly likely the origin of its use as a british last name.
