I'm glad Gwen Stacy died. There, I said it.

I never really liked reading THOR because he talks funny.

I never really liked reading THOR because he talks funny. My son said he won't read Thor because he said Thor is an alcoholic.

Frank Miller killed the Batman I loved. i haven't been able to stand the character since (in the mainstream DCU, that is, as I love the animated version of the '90s). Cei-U! I summon the distaste! Bill Mantlo dismantled and killed the Alpha Flight I loved so much. And they were NEVER the same after he touched them.

Superman is boring. Not even Alan Moore could make him interesting.
I've said this a million times.

Dan Didio killed the Hellblazer I liked so much. He hasn't been the same ever since.
I summon the didiodistaste!

Superman is boring. Not even Alan Moore could make him interesting. I've said this a million times. But I would love to get my hands on that John Byrne Superman whatever-it-is DuperSuper posted scans from earlier. I know that Byrne isn't the most reputable of writers, but I love his art. I just do.

Everything I have read that he he has written, I have loved. <----I am exhausted, surely there is a better way to have worded that? I do not think I'm going to ever read his Wonder Woman, though. I have heard many bad things.

Dan Didio killed the Hellblazer I liked so much. He hasn't been the same ever since. I summon the didiodistaste! I didn't read the earlier Nu52 Constantine as it didn't look that great but the newest iteration is pretty good, certainly not as great as it was under Delano but pretty interesting none the less. For my money though, I'll never understand the love of Deadpool. I haven't read a single good story with him in it though several friends have given me "examples".

I don't currently read him because I don't have to have him in my life. But the last time I read him, he was pretty decent.

Superman is boring. Not even Alan Moore could make him interesting. I've said this a million times. Amen. Actually, for me the only Superman I liked was John Byrne. And I wouldn't even say I liked it as much as I just generally accepted it as a decent story. I prefer my Superman as a guest app. if I do have to put up with him. Kinda like the Hulk for Marvel.

Seriously, these DC and Marvel heroes from the 30s, 40s, 50s, and 60s are way past their expiration date. They were not built to last so long. I consider them 4 color zombies

Can't stand Deadpool. Was tolerable at first but now with the constant humor that I consider juvenile...I...just...hate...him. Yeah, I'm not a fan of the "Whacky, hillarious, mass murderer" schtick myself. Harley Quinn at DC has devolved into basically the same thing, too.
