This is the silliest cover of all time.  Yeah, it's a bit silly, but silliest of all time? Doesn't even crack the top ten for me, especially when you consider those gold mines of WTF covers that are Lois Lane and Jimmy Olsen...

Agreed. there's a ton of bad covers from the late Golden - Silver Age from the Superman (and spin-offs) end of comics. |

Agreed. there's a ton of bad covers from the late Golden - Silver Age from the Superman (and spin-offs) end of comics. I wouldn't say they were "bad"... I think they are quite charming, and perfectly represent the contents of the book. I would say if anything was "bad", it was the stories, and the covers were "honest". |

It is absolutely not my place (ever!) to suggest or organise any CCF events, but as an event or topic, I am thinking about our favourite supporting casts.
I mean, there are obvious choices such as Superman’s supporting cast, Batman’s supporting cast, Spidey’s supporting cast, etc. But perhaps some supporting casts that are just as compelling, e.g. Flash, Nova, Daredevil, etc.

Thank you. I was thinking about supporting casts we maybe don’t think about much (or give credit to). Having read some Nova strips via Marvel Unlimited, I got thinking about how much I like his supporting cast, even though they wouldn’t necessarily have made a Top 10 list in the likes of Wizard.

You may also hear clamoring for Donald Duck's and Archie's cohorts. The Silver Age Flash, also. There was the Elongated Man and Sue Dibny, Iris West, Professor West, that old hammy actor whose name escapes me now, and Daphne Dean, for starters. |
