I don’t like wishing away time, and rooting for next Christmas to come quickly, so let’s do it for May Day or Easter or Passover or the vernal equinox. |

Price of original Top Cow comics in this volume - estimated $30-$40 for regular editions.
Price for fancy Vol 1 Archives which reprints same comics - anywhere between $200 - $350.
Kind of a bugger when the collected edition costs MULTIPLES of the actual comics themselves.

Anyway, without giving it much thought, I already came up with a list of six involving characters that also appeared in my 2021 list (when we did favorite comic book couples).

I have no strong feelings one way or the other for this as a topic, but I absolutely don't want to know what the topic is until Thanksgiving weekend. The reveal that weekend is a big part of the excitement of the event for me, and knowing now would kind of make it anti-climatic for me. And if I started fidgeting with the topic in January, I'd be over it by the time November rolled around no matter what the topic is. Some things are best left unknown until the time is right. -M |

So I'll say this: "Favorite Supporting Casts" will be a CCF theme someday but it won't be 2023's theme.

I hardly think we are at risk to ruin the surprise of revealing a CCF Christmas theme now...I don't know about others, but at my age I can't remember things from 3 days ago. Based on the average age here overall, I'm guessing we can be excited about the theme now, and by the time the event comes rolling in later in the year, it will be a pleasant surprise again.
Plus it's an awesome theme.
