Tough call, as usual. Richard Bishop's Steranko is probably my favourite cover in the thread and I remember that HP Lovecraft tribute issue of Heavy Metal very well, but as a fan of Kirby's New Gods I'm going with what I think is one of the best post-Kirby depictions of Darkseid, a character that has been so frequently misinterpreted over the years. Giffen got it right here and in the Great Darkness Saga as a whole, as far as I remember it. I only wish they'd included more NG characters besides Darkseid!
