A recent FB post boasted supergirl as "the very best comic book / super hero show on TV, and possibly ever!". Without bashing the supergirl show, I totally disagree. While I think the show is ok, there are others I personally enjoy more and think are better products all around. The post basically only compared it to flash, arrow, Gotham and shield. So I was curious what others thought. I didn't think of walking dead at the time, but ive added it here along with Constantine and Jessica jones even though one is no more and the other has only just started. Personally I put TWD and DD easily at the top followed cby flash. Everything else is about the same imo... all just "ok". Sometimes or some elements good and enjoyable and other times and things just aweful. All entertaining enough though that I've continued watching them all with varying degrees of attention and interest.

UPDATED
Right Now: Agent Carter is my favorite show - Flash is Number 2, Supergirl is Number 3 and Arrow and Constantine are Honorable Mentions.

I had a choice of Daredevil and The Walking Dead and picked the latter simply because it's into its 6th season whereby Daredevil has only 1 under its belt.
But both are outstanding.

To me, twd is just exceptionally well done across the board in every facet. Not saying it's perfect or without occasional flaws, but it's balanced. DD did so many things so well but I don't relish or praise it quite as highly as some fans but it's easily a superior product than the rest. Flash is fun and has a lot of heart and a lot to offer a wide range of fans, but it's flawed for me in several ways but less so than the others. Arrow I don't know how/why I kept with it but now it's watchable and entertaining because it's just so insane. It's become basically so bad it's good for me. Gotham is an odd one. It has moments that surprise you how compelling and good it is or begins to be, then jumps into the completely idiotic. AoS is totally middle of the road. Rarely completely aweful in any way, but just as rarely ever truly "good". Carter is good but kindve bland like AoS. Has lots of unrealized potential. Constantine was interesting, different and entertaining, but repetitive. Another season wouldve made the difference one way or the other. I already "tuning out" most episodes. Supergirl is just "cute" thus far imo. Not invested in it or anything about it and it has it's flaws. Havnt watched Jessica jones yet.

I tune into The Walking Dead every week, but it's way too up and down. A great episode followed by 2-3 subpar ones or just straight up filler.
Daredevil was consistently great throughout the 1st season and I can't wait for Punisher and Elektra to be introduced in Season 2.
I voted for Daredevil
I can't stand the basic cable superhero shows like Flash, Arrow or Agents of Shield.

I assumed I'd forget one.. I also forgot an "other" option as a backup. Oh well. Feel free to make your case for it. I completely forgot that one. I havnt seen it and havnt had desire to, even though I was aware it had comics roots. The premise alone isn't for me and the commercials for it looked abysmal imo. But then again zombies and such typically ain't for me, yet here I am into twd.

How cool is it that we even have so many comic shows to bitch about... good or bad. Pretty spoiled nowadays.

Since the only ones I've watched are Supergirl, Agents of SHIELD and Agent Carter, the former gets the nod because it's more upbeat than the latter two.
Cei-U! I summon the limited options!

Of the ones I've watched Daredevil is probably the most consistently good. Gotham has charm and a few really great characters (best Penguin ever) but is very flawed. Agents of Shield is good but not great. Supergirl's pilot was so bad I'll never watch it again. Agent Carter was very good, and handled the feminist messages much better than Supergirl can. Only 2 episodes into Jessica Jones. The main plot is great but I could really do without some of the subplots (the incest twins and the lesbian love triangle). Haven't watched the others yet. So my vote goes to Daredevil.
But I enjoy Lois and Clark better than anything out nowadays, and Batman the Animated Series, Superman the Animated Series, Justice League, and Spectacular Spider-Man are all better than any live action superhero show ever made.

For me this was gonna be between The Walking Dead or Daredevil, as I love them both. I voted for The Walking Dead as overall it's been a solid entertaining show for the past five years, but the episodes this season have been hit and miss. Daredevil has had one great season, if the second season is as strong it will become my favourite.

Right now, I enjoy The Flash and Daredevil the most. Very opposite in terms of content. I like the tone, the characters, the family theme of the Flash. I enjoy the serious dark tone of Daredevil and the characters. I'm enjoying Supergirl too and looking forward to seeing how the series develops. Arrow was my favorite for seasons 1-2. Season 3 was ok, season 4 is kind of meh for me so far. Gotham is getting better in season 2. I really enjoy the Ed Nigma character. I like him much better than Penguin.

I gave it to Daredevil. Beyond the bias of it being based on my favorite comic, the writing feels a lot tighter and the tone is more consistent than any of the others.
