Wait... Mickey's a dope smuggler? The Air Pirates were a collective of cartoonists who worked in classic styles. Dan O'Neill and Bobby London did underground-style stories with Mickey and the gang, w/drugs and sex and no names changed, since O'Neill thought that would dilute the parody. He expected to be sued, and the Disney lawyers obliged; only 2 issues came out. The legal wrangling went on for a while, w/O'Neill continuing to use Disney characters in defiance of the courts.
