That's Crazy! Spidey's met everyone, and Rom had A LOT of guest stars. And Ditko drew 'em both!
(Rom did have a team-up book appearance with the Thing in Marvel Two-In-One # 99.)

Huh...I woulda thought they for sure met up. Was ROM ever used much again outside of the 80's?

Daredevil 138, right? Karen Page was actually a supporting character in Ghost Rider for a bit.

Huh...I woulda thought they for sure met up. Was ROM ever used much again outside of the 80's? ROM was a licensed property and so the characters from it weren't used much after that ran out. IIRC, there was an attempt to revive them as simply "Spaceknights" or something like that in the early '00s, but I don't think many showed interest. |

Actually I believe they "met" in ROM #65, in a page on which pretty much all the heroes gang up against the Dire wraiths (the title of the story being The final conflict!). As I recall from I don't know where, however, Ditko refused to draw Spider-man in that scene and Spidey was added by someone else (whom I guess must have been the inker, P. Craig Russell). |
