I finally finished something! I've been working on three strips simultaniously and this was the one that got to finishedness first. I've been watching too much Star Trek recently (and by 'too much' I mean two consecutive episodes of Voyager. That's me cured for the next couple of years. )

New strip drawed by me, and coloured by Number Two Daughter - with some additional colouring by me.
As an added bonus here's the Shiny Woman with Huge Breasts I forced myself to draw for panel seven. It's hell being a comic artist, I tell you. Sheer hell!

I loved the coloring in GEEKS ... nicely done and it's easy on the "eyes" sort of "speaks".

Thank you, MechaGodzilla.
The figures were done by my daughter with pro markers on paper. Which I then I touched up,in Photoshop, clonebrushing areas she'd coloured into areas that she had missed (or I added after she had done). Backgrounds were, for the most part, done by selecting areas, then twatting around with the hue, brightness / darkness and burn tools on the texture of the original scanned white paper till I was happy.
The shiny girl is pencil on paper and took me about 10 minutes. Shows you where MY head's at but by heck, she's got a funny looking upper arm...

I liked that coloring too. Unfortunately my suspension of belief was spoiled by panel 4 on page 2 when, inexplicably, the two 'geeks' change places for that one panel. However, I think what happened could be explicable; there was a rift in the space-time continuum caused by Doctor Who and Elvis crossing the same coordinates early in panel 2 page 1, they were the real Elvis and Who disguised as a cos-playing fan and celebrity guest Tom Baker* (* - which I'm sure would be revealed in 'Secret Geeks' the 12 part maxi-series where order was restored and the multiverse saved). Can I have a no-prize?

Ohhhh yeah.... One No-prize (with oakleaf clusters) on its way. I think was too busy wondering if anyone would spot he was left-handed to notice the continuity error. I'll flip the image and rework the lettering if I ever print it in a real comic book. Hmmm. I may need to add a bit of Background Action it just looks a bit empty on the right now. Thanks though, Becca!

And I like the idea of the Doctor turning up to a Con disguised as himself. Plot... plot...

That's quite an accurate depiction of how many adaptations are handled! Good work, junkmonkey!

I suspect this is one of those ones that I think is funny....
After the mega complexities of doing a strip in two languages with variation on the artwork that would have been a lot simpler if I hadn't kept painting myself into stupid, multilayered, overly-complex photoshop corners, I though I would do something a little plainer and faster for a bit. Merry Christmas, folks.
