Astonishing Tales #36 (Deathlok by Rich Buckler): Does this qualify? One could argue that it isn't truly a silhouette since there is a bit of detail included around the border of the Deathlok image.

Yes, it's fun and you're right, there's a wide open field here. This is evidenced by the fact that though there was a similar "Silhouettes" theme back in November 2014 (note, before AGS's time at CCF...and before mine too actually, but I like to check out the Cover Contest Hall of Fame sticky thread), most of the covers submitted for this week's contest weren't seen back in that Nov. 2014 contest. There are several intriguing, stunning covers here this week that I've never seen before, and that's the best part of the contest for me. Yeah, well AGS stole my entry from the "Silhouettes" contest by posting El Diablo cover in his original post. Otherwise I would have reused it. There's 3 other covers in that series that qualify, just saying

Yeah, well AGS stole my entry from the "Silhouettes" contest by posting El Diablo cover in his original post. Otherwise I would have reused it. There's 3 other covers in that series that qualify, just saying Yeah, but: - #1 is my favourite cover from the series; and
- have a personal rule for these contests of trying not to post anything to similar too a cover that has already been posted (insofar as the theme will allow it), and the other three covers are just variations on the first.
But I honestly don't mind. It made me think of something different, and I'm quite happy with my Sin City offering.

Changed my cover to fit the rules. It's on page one.

My favorite cover in all of comicdom: Can someone explain me this cover? It's quite difficult to figure out what is going on : what's all te black under Starfire, I get that under Cyborg is Batman's cape, but is there a geometric form or negative space silhouette hiding there? I must be tired, hahaha!

LOL. . pretty sure it's supposed to be Dick, since that's a Bat-x-over, and he's looking at the circus poster so yes, Starfire, is sitting on Dick's face.
