www.cartooncrossroadscolumbus.com/#aboutI didn't go in 2015 and am beginning to regret that decision. But now, even without anything on the website yet, Stan Sakai has already announced he'll be attending in 2016. No way I'm missing that!

I am going to post this here...though it has implications for our thread on comics vis-a-vis the mainstream as well...
this is a forum held by the Columbus Metropolitan Club following up on the launch of the Cartoon Crossroads featuring Tom Spurgeon, Jeff Smith and the director of the Billy Ireland Cartoon Museum on the OSU campus as the panelists. As interesting is seeing the affluent, non-comic hardcore audience and their reactions to the topics being discussed. It's long (51 minutes) and very academic/highbrow in nature (read kind of stuffy) but interesting to watch for me nonetheless (some may find it a cure for insomnia though)...

Well, I had been dead set on going, but now this is the weekend my wife is moving out. Not sure what that means for me, who will have the girls that weekend, nor what my emotional state will be. In short, there's a good chance I won't be going now.
