I'm always looking for good sites to try, whether interviews, blogs, or reviews, but have been disappointed in a lot of the larger ones. CBR was a site I loved but seem to be heavily into promoting media now. there are still some parts of it I like, but I'm interested in finding more.
So, where can I try, even if its just one part of a larger site...i.e.The Buy Pile blog on CBR.

I like Multiversity, especially the Mignola section.

What does everyone think of Bleeding Cool? I had hoped it would be a good alternative to things like CBR but it seems to be focused on the same kind of thing - Marvel and DC, movie tie-ins, etc.

What does everyone think of Bleeding Cool? I had hoped it would be a good alternative to things like CBR but it seems to be focused on the same kind of thing - Marvel and DC, movie tie-ins, etc. I check it about once a day, there are some good bits but a lot of click bait. One of the things I do like about it is that is also hits on some rpg news and spotlights kickstarters from comics veterans that I wouldn't learn about elsewhere, but as far as the main focus, it's the same kind of stuff that brings the needed hits to fund the place for the owners i.e. current big 2 and the others major publishers listing in Previews, plus a lot of Avatar stuff (they own the site) and Dynamite (who they have a deal with to put previews and whole issues posted online for publicity). It is much more the yellow journalism site though, as they will run rumors and speculation as news ( I used to like Johnson's Lying in the Gutters column better where he would put red, yellow or green stoplight ratings with each piece to show how reliable he thought the info was-now there's often no indication if he is running with rumor or a solid scoop). AS long as you understand what the site is (and is not) and what it's bias is, it can be a decent resource, but readers really need to use discretion when evaluating the info you find there. -M

I ignore Bleeding Cool cause it's speculation that's often wrong and it clouds my perceptions of What Is with What Could Be. Other sites I enjoy include : The Beat and The Comics Reporter

I really enjoy this site: sktchd.com/The output is not as frequent as the major comic book news sites, and it's more focused on commentary and analysis, with a non-insignificant coverage of the business side of comics.

I used to like Bleeding Cool and not anymore and I also like Comic Reporter the one that hondobrode mentioned earlier.
