You folks have time to re-read?!?
Let me just say the only comics I have re-read are ones I thought I had not read but really I did and just forgot to mark them off in the ole collection checklist (every book I own gets read then checked off on my list).
I enjoy reading ASM #121 every so often. And also the Death of Captain Marvel. Sometimes I just look at the artwork in that one. Glorious!

I've fallen out of the habit of re-reading (my to-read pile is still too large) but I've very often read (rerererererererereread? rererererererererereread?) Watchmen, Seasons of Mist, Kingdom Come, Marvels, Crisis, Invasion, DC Digests, Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow, Morrisons JLA and various sections of triangle era Superman, Hickman Avengers, JLI, Waid Flash, Jones GL books/El Dorado, PAD Supergirl/Aquaman/Young Justice/Star Trek, Priest Steel, Kessels Superboy, Superman Adventures...

I thought I was the only one. Great arc by Marv Wolfman & Keith Pollard!! Doom finally defeated in issue #200 by Reed! I still think Pollard drew the best Doom, so menacing and scary looking & kinda creeps me out. I have the "Overthrow of Doom" HC that reprints these issues.

What a classic issue, so many good stories!! I have this issue on my tablet and just reread the first Penguin story recently. One of the best 80 page giants that I owned when I was younger. If I can find a good deal would like to buy this issue again for sentimental reasons.

I don't re-read these annually, but do so with some regularity...

When I was young and single I used to re-read stuff a lot. Now I'm older and married and barely read a quarter of what I buy. But someday.....
If I had the time, I could see myself re-reading Micronauts and Frank Miller's Daredevil yearly, and maybe Zot and Nexus and Grendel.

You buy four times what you read? It's possible. Whenever I go to local shows , I come back with 50-60 comics that I add to the pile that I already have.

The first dozen or so issues of Alan Moore's Marvelman/Miracleman Why only those ones? Sorry, I should've said the first 16 issues, all by Moore. Neil Gaiman took over with 17.

Ba da Bump da Bump! i don't tend to re-read annually, rather i read through a series a little at a time. It's enjoyable to me reading through consecutively over a long period of time experiencing the changes as a series evolves or new writer/artists come aboard. Thanks to having collected specific series i liked and the advent of Showcase/Essentials and TBP collecting runs i can enjoy this much more easily without having to drag out the long boxes.
Usually i will read through a long series collection and then a short TBP and then back to another long series. Also i try to break the reads up by single hero and then team and back to a singular hero. So currently i have been reading the Batman Showcases (which i just finished the final book last weekend. Now i am moving on to reading Nexus (i have all the omnibus up to the latest release #6) and once finished with that i will choose a Marvel series. What i will do is limit my reading so i won't burn out on the repetitiveness of a series and keep my interest for continuing. Usually i will read 1-3 issues at a time depending on how involved the issues are or if part of a continuing story-line. Normally i will go with an every other day or two for reading a collection as well and "wash the palate" if you will in-between with television or a novel. Being single allows me this advantage.
This means it has been several years since re-reading Fantastic Four, or Avengers or Spider-Man or Justice League or Flash or Legion of Superheroes and while i may remember bits and pieces the specifics have dimmed over the time waiting until i am ready to begin them anew. Occasionally i get a special craving for bronze age goodness and then i will need to choose where to begin reading. Currently on my to read list will be some 70's greatness with Master of Kung Fu and Deadly Hands of Kung Fu Omnibus' coming.
Once i retire, oh the endless joy to come.
