Any of our more indy/self-publishing savvy members know anything more about this... link to Facebook vid/kickstarterlooks like they are trying to create an alternative to Diamond Distribution for small press publishers/self publishers...found the link on the Facebook page of Gem City Comic Con but know nothing more than what I saw on the vid itself (which does a good jo of illustrating how Diamond acts as a de facto gatekeeper as to what books can reach market). -M

Never heard of it, but they had catalogs like these around back in the day.

Unfortunately, I don't see this succeeding.
Cold Cuts was the last entity that tried to be an alternative that I recall.

Bud Plant still has a catalog but it's mostly art books and stuff from publishers like Last Gasp or Kitchen Sink.
For a lot of these print will be a hard sale. It's not like the days when you were getting mini comix for a quarter. These will likely be several dollars each and with amateur quality work.
Now a mini comix catalog, I'd be interested in that.
