I grew up in a family that hunted. I've eaten elk, moose, bear, horse, and buffalo in addition to the usual forms of beef, pork, mutton, and venison. Liked 'em all except bear (waaay too greasy). I've even tried dog disguised as pepperoni. I've never had rabbit stew but I have had braised rabbit hearts and kidneys, which was delicious. In addition to chicken and turkey, I've eaten duck, goose, pheasant, quail, and Cornish game hen. Again, liked 'em all. Never had frog legs or any form of reptile but I'm open to it. I've never tried escargot but I'd have no problem doing so. There isn't that much difference between a snail and a clam and I love clams (also scallops, squid, and octopus but not oysters). I don't care for crab and I've never had lobster (though I'd love to try it). I'm way too squeamish to eat bugs, though. Cei-U! I summon my carnivorous inclination! You are a man of uncommon culinary bravery going where few men or women of the 20th and 21st centuries have gone. Crab's on your verboten list? This from a man who eats horsemeat? And what is it about oysters? Fried, in a stew, grilled, and especially raw, they are exquisite. From the files. (Note the name of the company...

If it comes from the water, I'll try it. Raw oysters with a little cocktail sauce and horseradish are top-tier. Not a fan of any fried that I've had, though.
The only wild game I've had are duck and deer, and I didn't like either.

I think I prefer raw salmon to cooked. I love me some good sushi.
I've had wild boar. Sadly they overcooked it and dried it out.

Liver! Give me liver!!!
Especially chicken liver. I'm sure that's what they serve to Zeus on Olympus.
But beware of polar bear liver, as it will likely kill you from vitamin A overdose (true story).

My granddad made a pact with the bears never to eat bear meat. I have upheld this pact hoping they will also.
I can't eat crab if I wanted, some sort of shellfish allergy discovered once the hard way, and yet I can eat shrimp, oysters, clams... never dared try lobster after the crab incident.
My grandfather was a hunter who would fill the family meat locker in town with moose, deer, duck, elk and goose. In Alaska I roasted dall mountain sheep and made all manner of venison variations including lasagna and chili.

My mom made the mistake of letting me try turkey livers and gizzards when I was younger. There after she had to share them with me whenever we got turkey. Where previously she was the only one that ate them. Also giblet gravy is amazingly good.

I once had kangaroo. It was the special at the steakhouse that I visited with my ex and her parents. As they were paying, I decided to try it since who knows when you'll ever get the chance again.
It was okay. I probably would have enjoyed a steak more though, but I have this story.

Am I the only to partake of rattlesnake? Also during my 11 years as a meat cutter I have opportunity to dine upon many parts of beef, pork and various seafood creatures.
If it is cooked I will most likely try it for a tasting. Outside of Sushi I'm not all that fond of raw meats. Have had quite the variety of cooked prairie oysters over the years. And home-made jerky from just about any kind of meat that can be smoked into it thanks to my grandfather. He grew up in the hills of Ohio farming and hunting, so he'd cook, smoke, bbq anything for eating.

We have a ton of rattlers around here but I don't know anyone who eats them regularly.

Lotta sand here. Goes perfect with saltwater.
And tastes like chicken.

I like the explanation from The Matrix for why everything tastes like chickens. Basically the machines didn't know or lost some data, so as a shortcut some programmer copied the code of a lot of stuff to just be chicken.

Every so often I'm reminded of what a sedate environment Canada is. Here we have rattlesnakes, copperheads, cotton mouths (though mostly just in the eastern part of the state), black widows and brown recluses. And then the traditional annual Oklahoma tornado that’s a gamble on whose gonna live. It’s amazing the places a man will relocate to for love.

I think that Indiana Jones and the last Crusade was the best movie of the series.
There I said it.
